- Cancer Prevention
- The use of selenium in the prevention of cancer. We are currently trying to identify molecular markers whose expression is modified by the presence of selenium as a diet supplement.
- hnRNP A2/B1 antibodies
- Identification of the epitope identified by 703D4 which is useful in detection of cancer.
- Hypermethylation of CpG islands in cancer
- We use a PCR based assay to measure the presence or absence hypermethylation in the CpG islands located around the promoter elements of genes relevant to cancer.
