Current Action Items:

1. DONE: Pilar Navarro-Medranto/Singal Applications: Robert Bresalier will send Jackie Dahlgren a response on Singal and Medrano applications. Update: Dr. Singal’s is done--will send Dr. Navarro a response.
2. DONE: iLof-Mehak Mumtaz/Lung: Robert Bresalier will send them the group’s recommendation.
3. DONE: Specimens in Reference Set with Restriction of Validation: At the next EDRN Executive Committee call Robert Bresalier will raise the idea of freeing up some old specimens to use as discovery.

Discussion:

Review of Pancreatic Cancer Reference Set Application from Pilar Navarro Medrano:

Received a review from Ying Huang from the DMCC. Will forward her comments to Dr. Medrano.

Zhen Zhang: Yingye Zheng said that Dr. Zhang had responded to the questions—the application will be approved. 

iLoF-Mehak Mumtaz/Lung: Robert Bresalier will send them the group’s recommendation to use a small subset of the lung reference set A, then if the results are successful, then they will receive the additional 378.

Pilar Navarro-Medrano/Singal Applications: Response was sent regarding Dr. Singal’s application. Dr. Bresalier will respond to Medrano—who will receive the reference set.

Specimens in reference set with restriction of validation—Robert Bresalier noted that the reference set specimens are getting older, so can some be freed up for discovery? He will raise this at the next EDRN Executive Committee call.
