Abstract

Airway gene-expression biomarker Total RNA and genomic DNA will be isolated from bronchial airway brushings and nasal brushings. After controlling for RNA quality, quantity, and purity, 100ng of RNA will be used for genome-wide gene expression profiling via total RNA-sequencing. After controlling for DNA quality, quantity, and purity, 50 - 300 ng of DNA will be made available to investigators at the University of Toledo
