Abstract

Overview: This Core funding proposal aims to address critical areas for imaging biomarkers for early detection of PDAC. The first area involves the creation of technical validation datasets for repeatability and reproducibility, which are currently not available for early detection imaging biomarkers for PDAC. The second area involves the clinical validation of 3 imaging biomarker approaches for early detection of PDAC using a phase 3 biomarker design. The third area involves the creation of an ensemble autocontouring method for pancreas. This is also currently unavailable for imaging research related to PDAC early detection, and would be a useful resource of this consortium, as well as other imaging researchers.

Aims

1. Establish technical validation datasets of imaging biomarkers for PDAC early detection 2. Clinically validate imaging biomarkers that have undergone phase 2 biomarker evaluation.

Analytic Method

Model performance will be measured using the C-statistic, sensitivity, and specificity.
